Dr. Trung Le is a Senior Lecturer (U.S. Associate Professor equivalent) at Monash University and a co-founder of the DreamAI Research Lab. My work bridges foundational theories, such as optimal transport, optimization, Bayesian and probabilistic inference, information theory, and causality, with next‑generation AI challenges including LLM alignment, reasoning, continual learning, generative AI, and trustworthy machine learning. My long‑term vision is to develop smart, intelligent, and secure AGI foundation models that are equitably accessible to everyone, and to mentor and cultivate the next generation of bold, rigorous AI researchers in Australia and Vietnam.

Ngoc-Thanh Dinh

Ngoc-Thanh Dinh is currently an associate professor of practice at Centrer for AI Research (CAIR) with College of Engineering & Computer Science, VinUniversity. He also serves as an associate editor of IEEE Access. He was an assistant professor at Soongsil University, a visiting scientist at Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, MIT, MA, USA in 2019, and a PhD candidate at  the School of Computer Science and IT, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia in 2014. He also has strong experience across industries in the roles of cofounder, CTO, and advisor for various tech companies and startups. His current research interests include advancing edge intelligence through the convergence of AI, blockchain, and 6G, to enable decentralized, secure, and ultra-fast autonomous decision-making at the network edge across various industries.

Dr. Van-Linh Ngo

Lecturer, Researcher

Linh Ngo Van is a member of the DreamAI Team. He is also a lecturer and researcher at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). His research interests include probabilistic graphical models, continual learning, information retrieval, and large language models (LLMs). His work spans both fundamental machine learning and practical AI systems, with notable contributions to knowledge distillation, embedding models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), LLM reasoning, human-AI alignment, LLM continual learning, and neural topic modeling. He has published extensively in leading AI venues, including ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, COLING, and EACL, as well as top journals such as Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), Knowledge-Based Systems, Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS), and Neurocomputing.

Son Tran

Senior Lecturer

Dr Son Tran is an expert in Artificial Intelligence, with research interests spanning knowledge representation, learning, and reasoning for robust and trustworthy AI. His work focuses on integrating scientific and commonsense knowledge with data-driven learning to develop interpretable, and human-centric AI systems. He has made significant contributions to areas including neural-symbolic AI, knowledge graphs, logical reasoning and the application of AI to real-world challenges. Son Tran has received several awards, including the Erasmus Mundus, the Harrison McCain Foundation Award, best paper wards at multiple conferences. Dr Tran is also an active contributor to the international AI research community, serving as a Program Committee member and reviewer for premier conferences including Neurips, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI.

Toan Do

Senior Lecturer

Thanh-Toan (Toan) Do is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Data Science and AI, Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University. In 2012, he obtained his Ph.D. in computer science at INRIA Rennes, France. From 2013 to 2016, he was a Research Fellow at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision (ACRV) and the University of Adelaide. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool. His research interests include Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Some particular research problems are Compact Deep Learning, Few-shot Learning, and Metric Learning.

Nguyễn Đức Anh

Nguyen Duc Anh earned his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Kyoto University in 2023. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His research interests focus on explainable artificial intelligence and efficient machine learning models, particularly knowledge distillation and model quantization.
